On 5 Oct 2007, I noticed an article in USA Today Weekend about the Tennessee Tech Tuba Ensemble. The article mentioned that two of their CDs, Kings of Brass and Play that funky tuba right, boy, were available from a company called "American Profile". The CDs were available through their website, AmericanProfile.com/store, by phoning 800-715-6248, or by sending a check for $19.97 plus $5.47 shipping and handling to:

So I obtained a Postal Money Order for $25.44 and filled it out. For the return address, I used a variant of my real name. The purpose of this is to see who American Profile sells their customers' name to.

I dropped the order into the mail on 6 Oct 2007. Results (if any) will be recorded here.

The CDs arrived in the mail on Friday 2 Nov 2007.

The first item addressed to the name variant arrived on Monday 14 Jan 2008.
